Party Jollof
Smoke from the bottom of the pot
Long-fried tomato and pepper base, parboiled long-grain, finished low so the smoke gets in. Served with dodo.
Kitchen & Bakery — Est. 2018
Nigerian cooking from a proper kitchen, and a bakery that starts before sunrise. Order for tonight — or for the whole party.
01
Since 2018, GLS has fed birthdays, Sunday lunches, office mornings and owambe Saturdays. A kitchen that cooks the way home does — and a bakery that bakes like it means it.
Nigerian classics, cooked to order and packed hot.
Breads, pastries and celebration cakes, out of the oven daily.
Small chops, trays and catering for the whole guest list.

Four plates people drive across town for. The rest of the menu is waiting at the end.
Smoke from the bottom of the pot
Long-fried tomato and pepper base, parboiled long-grain, finished low so the smoke gets in. Served with dodo.
Yaji, open flame, no shortcuts
Thin-cut beef rubbed in our own yaji blend and grilled over open heat. Raw onion, tomato, a little more pepper.
Grilled first, then drowned in rodo
Seasoned overnight, grilled for char, then tossed in a scotch-bonnet sauce that will make you reach for water.
For when everyone is coming
Puff-puff, samosa, spring rolls, gizdodo and grills — boxed for the office or trayed for the owambe.

The Kitchen
Peppers, tomatoes, fish and greens come in fresh every day. If it isn’t right, it doesn’t come in.
Stews are fried down until the oil rises. Jollof takes its smoke from the base of the pot. Nothing here is hurried.
Every plate and pack is portioned when you order, so it reaches you the way it left the stove.

The Bakery
Croissants laminated by hand. Agege loaves the way they should be. Celebration cakes made to order — tell us the day, and we’ll take care of the rest.
